Let the required flow rate of pipe B be X gallons per hour.
Together they fill (2 - X) gallons per hour.
ATQ, 64 / (2 - X) = 96)
Or, 64 / 96 = 2 - X
Or, X = 2 - 64 / 96 = 4/3 gallons per hour.
